A place beyond words...

When I first read this quote, it really hit something deep within me. If I can be honest with you, I actually cried ๐Ÿ˜ญ

In a world where silence seems unproductive and unpopular, it is met with our natural tendency to fill those empty spaces with words and more things to โ€˜doโ€™. The busier we become can at times, make us feel important and needed. When really what we need is to silence the noise and the voices to answer the invitation to be still and know... to be still and know that He is God... to be still and know that everything will be okay... to be still and know that we are loved and valued beyond what we can do... to be still and know [fill in here].

At the end of February after the โ€˜She Walks with Visionโ€™ Challenge, we opened the doors to The Kairos Community to the women who took part in the challenge. A beautiful community of faith-filled women came forward and said yes to the journey deeper into intimacy, identity and purpose. God has been moving beautifully in ways we didnโ€™t anticipate and in areas we have deeply desired a move of God. He has been speaking to us about becoming a spiritual community whose strength is in loving one another enough to refrain from getting caught in the trap of trying to fix everything, or rushing in with words. Instead to pray for one another and hold space, a silent yet strong space that allows room for Father God to be the one who speaks, moves and transforms.

This month we are journeying through silence and solitude and it has been challenging yet liberating to come into a place of stillness and silence - a place BEYOND WORDS!

If your mind, body, heart and spirit have been crying out for this, let this be a confirmation (and potentially permission) to seek silence and solitude in the midst of a chaotic and noisy world. As this quote so beautifully shares, may we not shun silence as empty space but befriend it as fertile ground for intimacy with God! ๐Ÿ•Š #thekairoscommunity #wordofencouragement #kairoscreativestudio
